MFID: D1764KCOVIDIEN Surgidac polyester sutures are non-absorbable, sterile surgical sutures composed of polyethylene terephthalate. The tight, uniform braid provides greater resistance to breaking, kink-free suture delivery, and easier needle arming and dispensing.
These sutures show high tensile strength, both linear and knotted, providing:- Maximum security in approximation of tissues under stress conditions
- Permanent support (tensile strength is retained indefinitely)
- Maximum security with prosthetic implants
Surgidac sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neural tissue.
