COVIDIEN Monosof monofilament nylon sutures are inert, non-absorbable, sterile surgical sutures, which are available either dyed black, with Logwood extract, or undyed (clear). Reference SN5767G, size 6-0, on the P-11 needle: a nylon monofilament frequently selected for skin closure.

The advanced extrusion process of the nylon molecule gives the suture:
