Ethicon PDS II (polydioxanone) Suture, Absorbable, Size: 7-0, Needle: BV-1, BV-1, VIOLET, 36/bx. MPN: Z155H
PDS II is a sterile synthetic Absorbable monofilament suture made from the polyester poly(p-dioxanone). It is intended for use in general soft tissue approximation, including pediatric CV tissue, microsurgery and ophthalmic surgery. In size 7-0 with the BV-1 needle, it is an absorbable monofilament that offers extended wound support.
It should not be used where prolonged (beyond six weeks) approximation is required, ie heart valves, synthetic grafts.
